What is the impossible burger?
It's an environmentally friendly, plant-based burger created by Stanford professor and former pediatrician Patrick Brown, Ph.D., M.D. in 2011.

What is in the Impossible Burger?
It's original version was made mostly from potato and wheat protein, coconut oil, and heme. The complete list of ingredients are:

Water, Textured Wheat Protein, Coconut Oil, Potato Protein, Natural Flavors, 2% or less of: Leghemoglobin (Soy), Yeast Extract, Salt, Konjac Gum, Xanthan Gum, Soy Protein Isolate, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, Thiamin (Vitamin B1), Zinc, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Vitamin B12
